Purchase Orders is how a store orders stock from a supplier: who is being ordered from, to which location, which items and quantities, and at what cost. The order is an intent to buy and nothing more — it moves through its own lifecycle as goods arrive, but recording the arrival is a separate step, and sending that stock out to stores is a third one again.
